Karissa Frazier joined the firm in 2024, making the switch from workers’ compensation defense. Karissa concentrates her practice in the areas of civil litigation, civil rights violations, injury and death cases, probate, estate planning, family law, immigration, and real estate transactions.

Karissa attended the University of Illinois Chicago, School of Law and graduated in 2023 with cum laude honors. Prior to law school, Karissa received her master’s degree from The University of Illinois Chicago in public health with concentrations in maternal and child health and global health.

Karissa volunteered throughout her time at UIC with Gift of Life and as a result of the work she was able to accomplish, she was awarded many awards. In her spare time, Karissa continues to volunteer with Gift of Life and dedicates her time to coaching youth/high-school softball on the southside.
